Edna OBrien


Since her debut novel The Country Girls in 1960, Edna O’Brienhas written twenty-five books, including a biography of James Joyce and has won several awards, including Ulysses Gold Medal, US National Arts Gold Medal and the Frank O’Connor Short Story prize. Her most recent novel, The Little Red Chairs, is to be made into a film and her musical play of The Country Girls is to be produced in London next year.
