Giacomo Gilmozzi

Giacomo Gilmozzi joined the Institute for Research and Innovation (IRI) in 2017, after obtaining a Master's in Political Philosophy and Ethics at Sorbonne University. He is head of Project Experimentation, Edition and Communication at IRI and is currently involved in two EU H2020 projects: NEXTLEAP (communication and computation protocols for a decentralized, trust-worthy, contributive and privacy-respecting Internet) and CO3 (assessing the benefits and risks of disruptive technologies in the context of the Plaine Commune Project – in which he is also involved). He is part of the EU RISE Action Programme (Real Smart Cities), whose overarching objective is to develop and implement a critique of the Smart City through the Digital Studies epistemological perspective.
