Glenn Loughran is an artist, educator and researcher at the Dublin School of Creative Arts, and an Associate Researcher at the Graduate School of Creative Arts and Media. He is programme chair of the B.A.V.A on Sherkin Island, and holds a Doctorate in Art Education from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. He has presented and exhibited nationally and internationally on his research interests. In 2017 he completed an Art & Science research residency at Parity Studios on the subject of art, automation and work. Titled AFTER THE FUTURE...OF WORK, this research has been presented at the Venice Biennale Helsinki Research Platform (2017) and at the MediaLab International Festival of Collaborative Arts, Madrid (2018).
