Juliana Huxtable


Juliana Huxtable was born in Texas in 1987. She attended Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, where she studied art, gender studies, and human rights. Her work explores the intersections of race, gender, queerness, and identity self-portraiture, text-based prints, performance, nightlife, music, writing, and social media. Huxtable’s work has been featured in group presentations at ICA London (2017); MoMA PS1, New York (2014); White Columns Annual, White Columns, New York (2014); ‘Take Ecstasy with Me’, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York (2014); Frieze Projects, London (2014); and the 2015 Triennial: Surround Audience, New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York (2015)
