Nil Yalter, an associate in Sorbonne University through 1980-1995, has lived and worked in Paris since 1965. She has been creating video, painting, drawing and multimedia installations since 1973. Recent solo exhibitions include Nil Yalter, Galerie Hubert Winter, Vienna; D'Après Stimmung, Museum Ludwig, Cologne; and Nil Yalter, MOT International, London. Her work has been included in numerous group exhibitions including: Women House, National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington DC; Feminist Avant-Garde of the 1970s, The Photographer’s Gallery, London; Topak Ev, MAM Rio, Rio de Janeiro; Scared of Murals, SALT, Instabul (2013); and WACK! Art and the Feminist Revolution, MOCA, Los Angeles.
