Richard Mosse lives and works in New York and Ireland. His practice is concerned with the intersection of documentary photography and contemporary art. In 2017, he won the Prix Pictet. He has also received the Deutsche Börse Photography Prize, Guggenheim Fellowship, Yale Poynter Fellowship in Journalism, the B3 Award and the Leonore Annenberg Fellowship. Mosse represented Ireland at the 55th Venice Art Biennale. He has exhibited at venues including the Barbican Centre, London; Portland Art Museum, Portland; National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne; the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin; Akademie der Künste, Berlin; Kunsthaus Graz, Graz and MCA Chicago, Chicago among others.
