Judy Chicago is an artist, writer and educator whose work has helped shape the agenda for women’s art over the past five decades. She came to prominence during the late 1960s and early 1970s when she challenged the male-dominated art landscape by creating innovative work from a women’s perspective, thereby helping to change the course of art history.
Hans Ulrich Obrist (b. 1968, Zurich, Switzerland) is Artistic Director of the Serpentine Galleries, London. Prior to this, he was the Curator of the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris. Since his first show “World Soup” (The Kitchen Show) in 1991, he has curated more than 300 shows.
Obrist’s recent publications include Conversations in Colombia, Ways of Curating, The Age of Earthquakes with Douglas Coupland and Shumon Basar, and Lives of The Artists, Lives of The Architects.
