Enrique Vila-Matas

Novelist and essayist Enrique Vila-Matas is one of the great contemporary European storytellers. His works, translated into 32 languages, include Mac y su contratiempo (2017), Vampire in Love (2016); Marienbad electrique (2015), Kassel no invita a la lógica [The Illogic of Kassel] (2014 [2015]), Never Any End to Paris (2011 [2003]), Montano’s Malady (2007), and Bartleby & Co. (2004). He belongs to the illustrious Order of the Finnegans Knights that meets yearly in Dublin to honor James Joyce. Vila-Matas has received numerous awards for his books, among them the Rómulo Gallegos Prize (2001) and the Jean Carrière Award (2010).
